Happy Howe & Conte curbs expectation

Ben Haines is joined by ex-West Ham and Crystal Palace midfielder Jobi McAnuff, former West Ham and Aston Villa midfielder Nigel Reo-Coker and the Telegraph’s North-East correspondent Luke Edwards, as they react to a busy Sunday in the Premier League. After a third successive defeat Antonio Conte admits it is "impossible" for a team hoping to fight for the Champions League places to lose games the way Tottenham have recently. Is the job what Conte expected? Jarrod Bowen starred for West Ham as they snatched a point at Leicester. Jobi expects a phone call from England boss Gareth Southgate is incoming. At the other end of the table, Burnley are still rooted to the bottom – is time finally up for them? Meanwhile a third successive win for Newcastle moves them four points clear of the relegation places, but Eddie Howe isn’t getting too excited and admits they are still very much in the relegation battle. And as Liverpool welcome back Sadio Mane – the panel ask if this is going to be the greatest man-management test of Jurgen Klopp’s reign? Can he keep the forward line-up happy? Someone on the panel isn’t as convinced as the others.
