Episode 36: IN CONVERSATION with Katie Pureti, Music Therapist

Joining us on the podcast today with have Katie Pureti, a registered music therapist and the Northland Regional Manager for the Raukatauri Music Therapy Centre.

Born and raised in the Waikato, Katie is part of a long legacy of musicians and singers. She grew up performing folk and gospel music with her parents and siblings.  Katie has several years experience teaching music in school settings, as well as adult community settings including non-profits and prisons.  In 2017, she joined the team at the Raukatauri Music Therapy Centre, and now works with children with a wide range of needs.
