189: Caryn Zinn; Why health coaching is changing healthcare

Caryn Zinn is an Associate Professor and Head of Research at AUT's School of Sport & Recreation. She is also a New Zealand Registered Dietitian with considerable experience in the area of nutrition relating to metabolic health, and sports performance, both in the research and clinical practice context.

Caryn and I had a great discussion about health coaching broadly. We discuss what health coaching actually is, how this looks in primary care and how it looks in private practice. As well as some of the limitations of health coaching interventions.
