Cultivating Compassion and Resilience: Yoga for Enhancing Mental Health

The use of yoga and meditation as complementary medicine is growing. In 2017, 14% of U.S. adults participated in yoga, according to NIH. Depression and anxiety are among the most common conditions self-treated with yoga. Yoga is relatively low cost, easy to access, had high social acceptance and enables to focus on the whole person.
