#191: Stories of muscle dysmorphia (bigorexia)

Lifters often get trapped in this feeling of "i'm not big enough". What I want to know is.... when are you actually big enough? Is it necessary to look like Chris Bumstead (yes, I admit it would be nice). But at what point do we say, cool this is enough? ⁣ ⁣ I think for many of us that point may never come... or it comes after a DECADE of lifting weights. What's wrong with being okay with where you're at now? Nothing.⁣ ⁣ But it's not that simple, to create a healthy mindset around progress and your physique it requires work. Further, basically no one in fitness is saying "hey it's okay, you're jacked enough".⁣ ⁣ Why? ⁣ ⁣ It doesn't sell products, supplements or coaching. It doesn't reinforce the fear based selling that the fitness industry thrives off. Do you ever feel like your personal trainer judges your decisions? Do you ever get comments from others about how your physique is still sub-par. ⁣
