Romans 7:4 says we have died to the law in Christ Jesus but in Matthew 5:17 Jesus says he didn’t come to abolish the law but to fulfill it. So if we are in Christ it means that we have died to the law, but also we have fulfilled the law in Christ. How can both be true at the same time? Did we die to the law or did we fulfill the law in Christ?

Economic Trinity: A view of the Trinity focused on God in the history of redemption, or the functional acts (economies) of the Godhead in the creation and salvation of the world; this perspective is distinguished from that of the immanent Trinity.
