S01 E06 DRUG ABUSE Awareness for Punjabi Youth by Simerjeet Singh a Vivek Joshi | Umeed

"From Dope to Hope" is a candid conversation on Drug Abuse Awareness between Simerjeet Singh motivational speaker and Vivek Joshi. They talk about how to avoid drugs and how to help someone who is addicted to drugs by giving them hope in life. In this Punjabi motivational audio, Vivek Joshi, who was declared 100% cerebral palsy and was written off by doctors, shares his life story of struggle, depression, parental support, never say die attitude and recovery from a life that could have been invalid had he chosen for it to be so. He is also working for Madhav Sewa Society who is answering all the questions related to: -Nashe se chutkara kaise paye? -How to avoid drug addiction in Punjabi? -How to stop drug addiction in Punjabi? Vivek often talks about how we can prevent drug addiction in Punjab. He works a lot in this field. He spread awareness in youth by discussing nashe ke nuksan, he says that nashe di lat mout nu khat. Drawing from his own experiences, Vivek advises the support system of drug addicts to take an active, rather pro-active role in helping them recover and rehabilitate, rather than losing hope on them. Vivek says many times, they want to rehabilitate, they want to recover but society and people around them are the ones who give up hope on them first. Vivek also says life is beautiful and one must learn to love oneself. When you love yourself, you will not give in to things like drugs that cause you only harm. When you love yourself, you will find the inner strength to wait for good times with patience and not give in to despair, disappointment and self-destruction.  Simerjeet Singh also highlights in this Punjabi motivational story that parenting can not be outsourced and urges parents to take responsibility for bringing up their children themselves. When parents are directly involved in the upbringing of kids, kids are less likely to get trapped in the vicious cycle of despair and drugs.  Vivek Joshi is an inspiration to millions of people across India. Declared afflicted with 100% cerebral palsy when he was born by the doctors who had given up on him promptly, Vivek Joshi went on to receive accolades, including a national award in the self employed category for his services to the society by President Pranab Mukherjee. Yes, read that again - for his services to the society as a giver not a receiver.  Vivek's journey was the zenith of great struggle. Cerebral Palsy and seven operations did not dampen his spirits. With a combination of sheer determination and Counseling and therapy, he was able to take stock of his unfortunate situation and acquire with not one, not two but three degrees and he didn't stop there. He is currently pursuing PhD. His book 'Lafz Lafz Masoom' was released by none other than late Dr. Kalam.  Watch this video on YouTube: https://youtu.be/NSzOXl0U88U #Umeed #SimerjeetSinghHindiAudios #VivekJoshi #SimerjeetSingh #youthmotivation #youthmotivationindia #mindsetcoach #transformationcoach #personalleadership  #motivationaltalks #virtualkeynote #virtualevents #virtualkeynotespeaker To watch more videos of this series, please explore this playlist: https://tinyurl.com/ybprxgbm For #InspiredLife series, please click this link: http://tiny.cc/4m54oz For more Hindi motivational videos , please explore this link: https://tinyurl.com/yagbglk2  For more information about Simerjeet, please visit his website: http://www.simerjeetsingh.com Follow us on: Facebook Page: http://www.facebook.com/cuttingedgeINDIA Blog: http://www.simerjeet.wordpress.com LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/cuttingedgeindia/ Instagram: @speakersimer (https://www.instagram.com/speakersimer/) Twitter: @SimerjeetSingh (https://twitter.com/simerjeetsingh) Subscribe to our YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/simerjeetsingh
