AWOLNATION - Aaron Bruno (2022)
Aaron Bruno is the frontman of American alternative rock band AWOLNATION. The band made huge waves with their debut album Megalithic Symphony (2011), accompanied by the huge crossover hit 'Sail'. The subsequent album Run (2015) was equally well received. During the pandemic Bruno started working on what would become 'My Echo, My Shadow, My Covers, and Me' (2022), a collaborative cover album. We spoke with Aaron about the album, covering well-known songs, music as an escape, learning from dissecting other people's songs, collaborations, his writing approach, writing new songs, and a lot more!
