Eric Ortiz is a former NFL linebacker turned licensed financial agent. After suffering a series of career ending injuries, Eric found himself at a turning point in his life and saw a need within his personal circle of friends for a deeper understanding of financial literacy. 

Growing up, Eric's parents taught him the importance of managing and budgeting your money from a very young age, and both his parents were already involved in the financial industry, so it was an easy transition for Eric coming out of his professional sports career. 

Today, Eric is a Senior Vice President (SVP) with Primerica and owns and manages 4 financial brokerages and 244 licensed agents here in the Tampa Bay area.
