Sleep Story 156 - The Republic by Plato

Tonight’s readings come from The Republic, by Plato. Written in approximately 375 BC and translated many years later by Benjamin Jowett, the story looks at society in Ancient Greece. My name is Teddy and I aim to help people everywhere get a good night’s rest. Sleep is so important and my mission is to help you get the rest you need. The podcast is designed to play in the background while you slowly fall asleep. Thank you for all of the listeners that regularly listen to the show and share it with their frieds and family. And a special thank you to all of the Anchor supporters and Patreons that continue to support the show with their monthly financial support. It really does help out and allows me to continue to bring out more episodes to help you all fall asleep. If you do appreciate the podcast, a lovely way to say thank you is to leave a 5 star review in iTunes or your podcast app, even one sentence helps out. It would also be awesome if you were able to share the podcast with someone you know who may also need a good night’s sleep.
