And more… Ellen of Ellen Frances Designs has been in the home design business for over 25 years. It began as a side hustle and grew into a full-time business. Ellen is an artist, a creative, a potter, a design stylist and landscaper planner. She developed a passion for design at an early age. The running family joke was her rearranging the furniture and causing many surprise calamities at night. She built and painted her Barbie Dream House out of scrapes of fabric from her mom’s sewing studio and boxes. Ellen studied art, home decor and design at Temple University, the School of Interior Redesign in Connecticut and has been self-taught. Ellen Frances has clients in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Miami and California. She offers home staging which results in quicker sales. Ellen also specializes in Space Planning, closet, office, kitchen and bath designs as well as home styling. She also specializes in redesign and repurposing spaces with client’s own pieces, new pieces and inherited pieces. Sustainable living and recycling, is an important factor in incorporating home design.   Her keen eye and in-depth conversations with clients results in beautifully designed, functional spaces. Her motto ‘Easy Living for the Soul’, resonates in her design concepts and problem solving, resulting in clients living their best lives in their spaces. Design and Function go hand in hand in every project. Ellen also operates a non-profit in which she volunteers her design services to assisting transitioning families in need. Through her business, furnishings and services are donated from individuals and vendors. Ellen’s work has been featured in Apartment Therapy and she has been a presenter at the Philadelphia Home and Garden Show. Her design advice has also appeared in articles in online platform Design Trade publications.
