Book Club: Emma Raducanu: When Tennis Came Home by Mike Dickson
In the latest episode of Tennis Weekly, Joel and Kim chat to Mike Dickson, tennis correspondent for the Daily Mail, about his new book Emma Raducanu: When Tennis Came Home.
They chart Emma’s path to US Open glory by looking back at her upbringing in Bromley, her formative years on the lower rungs of the tour, the effect of lockdown and her innate curiosity which compels her to continually self-improve.
They reflect on her run to the 4th round at Wimbledon 2021 and her remarkable triumph at Flushing Meadows later that summer, as well as looking back on her time on the WTA Tour since then, and what the future holds.
