Merit Medical Systems Inc.'s shares rose to a record and headed for their biggest gain in two years after well-received results for the second quarter. The maker of disposable medical devices posted earnings and sales that beat analysts' average estimates in a Bloomberg survey and increased full-year forecasts. Merit Medical also said it expects to be more profitable during the next two years with help from new products.
