AmTrust Financial Services Inc.'s shares fell to a 4 1/2-year low after the insurance company delivered its second straight earnings disappointment. Profit for the first quarter amounted to 32 cents a share, far below the 61-cent average estimate of analysts in a Bloomberg survey. Last month, AmTrust delayed a restatement of past results and disclosed that U.S. regulators are investigating its accounting practices.
