Objectives: Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Review the current literature on infants under 60 days of life, outside of the newborn period, who present with hypothermia.
- Discuss the differences in definitions of hypothermia in the pediatric literature.
- Review what presenting symptoms make a patient with hypothermia more likely to have a serious bacterial infection, according to the current literature.
