Because in our modern, connect world, it is just too darn easy spend our lives in Infinite Browsing mode, the state of constantly looking for but never quite committing to a place, person, religion, or way of being in the world. Pete argues persuasively that picking a path and staying on it yields deeply meaningful rewards, including purpose, depth, and community.
