Colorism

Pratyusha Pilla, Beta Eta-Texas, discusses colorism, the impacts of colorism and what we can do to end discrimination and actively make changes. Pratyusha is currently a third year medical student and a TEDxSugarland speaker. Pratyusha is passionate about mental health, focusing on destigmatizing depression as her pageant platform in Miss America pageants, crowned as the first woman of color to win the title of Miss Austin.
