Shopify

Ep. 276:

Our special guest today is Lynsey Thornton, Managing Director of US West @ Shopify. With a background in design, project management, and business, she focuses on building high capacity, cross-functional teams in growing tech companies. She created the first-ever UX Research team and as her focus shifted, she moved into the role of General Manager for Core Product, building the company’s flagship product along the way. She is currently focused on scaling Shopify in the United States by enabling independence and success for entrepreneurs in the entire Region.

Lynsey discusses how listening to the Shopify audience and innovating early in the Pandemic not only assisted countless businesses to get online for the first time but further solidified the Shopify brand by supporting small and local businesses. From showing up for your audience to pivoting and providing a better experience than Amazon, to continuing to invest to remove any obstacles that your consumers face. Listen in, you'll want to hear how you can innovate and better connect with your audience.
