Making it in the music industry - An interview with recording artist Moe D

It all began with Moe D receiving a karaoke machine as a Christmas gift from his mother at the age of 8. Everyday he would make music with his karaoke. At 13, Moe D upgraded to a small studio, where he further learned how to song-write, engineer, and produce. As Moe D grew into the music, he began to study it and tried to find ways he could progress and polish his craft. He went on to create over 14 mixtapes/albums , passing them out all over Western Massachusetts. Growing up in a low income household and a struggling single mother gave him an inner strength to focus on and excel in what he loves. Early on, Moe D's dad worked at Holyoke News, which was a newspaper and magazine company, and this is where Moe D began to collect and read a ton of magazines, mainly hip hop exclusives that came with a bunch of posters and underground Music CD's inside. With a sense of urgency building up, Moe D began to take more risks. He purchased his own tickets to perform live across multiple states to Philadelphia and then followed that up by taking a trip in his own car to perform in a music showcase in New Jersey. He has also performed at various venues and many Puerto Rican Festivals including one of the biggest in Boston, Massachusetts. Moe D has also helped other artists’ record and release their own music projects. In 2020, Moe D at this time said “It’s Time for EVOLUTION." Now it’s 2021, and Moe D is working on several new albums, writing a book, and executing several plans from his vision. *2021 "Legendary Legacy" *2021 "Futuro Brillante" *2021 “Forever Royalty” *2020 “Evolution” *2017 “Vision”  https://open.spotify.com/artist/20Ri1gnqP8m0P6yvlCZsj6?si=p3RPgBMIQg68EVdOaUnqjg  https://music.apple.com/us/artist/moe-d/1139886818 MoeDMusic.com YouTube.com/MoeDMusic Instagram.com/MoeDMusic
