Jeremiah 13 Explained | Journey 17 Day 47

Jeremiah 13: A Useless Belt | A rotten belt is useless--and so are the people of Judah. Captivity was coming for the rebellious nation.

Journey 17 | Ministry of the Broken Heart. Journey Seventeen brings us back to the heart of ministry, in all its love and sorrow. John was the Apostle of Love, and Christ's love shines through both John's gospel and his three letters to the church. Back in the OT, Jeremiah reveals the other side of serving God—the ministry of sorrow. In Jeremiah and Lamentations, he mourns for God's people who refuse to hear his call to repent. Obadiah and several chapter of Proverbs round out the journey. (92 days)
