Miss Earth Australia 2022 Sheridan Mortlock is currently undertaking a double degree in Global Sustainability and Politics. She hopes to one day join Australian politics and to influence more action being taken in Australia towards protecting our environment.

She is a WIRES (Wildlife Information, Rescue and Education Service) volunteer, and in her spare time likes to play piano, guitar and discover new places in her community. 

Sheridan's advocacy for this year's Miss Earth pageant is based on the acronym ACE, which stands for Action, Care and Education. She believes that it is the mixture of these three components that will bring about the most substantial and sustainable results in our battle against climate change.
