Air Date Dec 2, 1996. Sydney's romance with Kyle eludes her when he tells her that their tryst in the restaurant was a one-time thing and that's it, and Sydney suffers further unhappiness when she learns Jane's news who then decides to track down her real biological mother. Megan expresses doubts to Kimberly about Michael's true feelings for her. Meanwhile, Billy gives love-life advice to Alison, who then decides to accept Jake's business offer. On another diner date, Matt meets one of Dan's former patients (and lovers) who cautions him about Dan's handling of relationships. Amanda, under orders from Arthur Field, takes Craig out for dinner to find out more about his plans for D&D, while Craig presents Samantha with her new loft for her to live in and paint. Also, Peter becomes more and more depressed about his life after he freezes during an operation.
