Born in Rajasthan, Ruma was only 4 years old when her mother died but she did not give up. After a few years, due to the financial problems of the house, she had to quit her studies, but instead of getting depressed she faced this challenge with a smiling life. She also lost her son due to financial problems. But it is only because of her will power, never give up attitude and passion that she stood up again after all this and started working hard towards her goal. She collected more women along with her and started making cloth bags and clothes, thereby exploring the world of women entrepreneurship. 

Due to her hard work and determination, she was honored by the Honorable President and was also invited as a speaker at Harvard University.

She strongly supports the statement that art is hidden in all of us, we just need to recognize it.
