The Legacy of Billy's The Stranger Lives on at MSG

While Billy Joel’s last studio album was released on August 10th, 1993. It was The Stranger that catapulted Billy Joel to the iconic, internationally renowned venue he is happy to call home Madison Square Garden. He first played there in 1978 and has continued to play there ever since. For any artist having a residency at Madison Square Garden is an accomplishment, but having a legacy of shows at MSG is just part of what makes Billy Joel such an icon.
