Olympian Imtiaz Anees on his Journey to the Olympics

Imtiaz is the second person to represent India at the Olympics in equestrian- the sport of horse riding.
 
He completed an equestrian three-day event at the Olympics in Sydney in 2000. The equestrian three-day event is considered one of the toughest sports in the Olympics.
 
He is the author of a recently published book called Riding Free: My Olympic Journey.
 
In our conversation, we dive into how this man with dreams and determination broke into the sport which was mostly reserved to the army, how he ended up representing India at the Olympics, what he learnt from this sport and a lot.
