I'm kicking off November by talking with Carissa Hempton, art director, designer, and one-half of the design studio known as A Civil Fox. Their motto -- Heartfelt Headstrong Design -- informs their creative process from start to finish. Carissa talked to me about how A Civil Fox started, what a typical day is like working from home and balancing life and projects, the rollercoaster ride of entrepreneurship, and the importance of side projects.
