095: Alicia Carr

I'm starting September off with the inspiring Alicia Carr. Alicia is an iOS mobile engineer and the founder and CEO of The Purple Pocketbook, the first domestic violence mobile app in the state of Georgia. Alicia began coding at 51, and her work was even highlighted during this year's WWDC live feed. Impressive! We spoke about her app, her work with Women Who Code, the WWDC experience, and her future goals and plans. Alicia has such an upbeat and positive spirit, and I think you'll really fall in love with her and her story. I know I'm definitely motivated by what she's accomplished, and I think you will be too!
