One of the biggest things that I was able to learn from Carly is, how do you embrace what you love and what it brings you, and then how do you connect that to the workplace? I don't think we give that enough thought we just rush through our days, bulldoze through productivity, but then don't give thought to what that all entails. I also loved how Carly is just so genuine. She spoke so much about one's truth and one's identity and that is such a formative ability to be able to just be yourself and show up fully as you. Carly fully embodies that. Another thing that I thought was just so compelling about Carly is, your plan is not going to work out all the time and you have to be okay with your plan B and C. Nobody is watching and waiting for you to fail and nobody's going to know if you go with your second or third option. I enjoyed having Carly on the show and it was just really special to get to know her on a deeper level.
