Ep 8: One Professor Away from Discovering One’s Passion

In this episode, Bryan talks with Tyler Denk who is the Head of Growth at Morning Brew. During this episode Tyler recounts his time in high school, as a junior, figuring out what he wanted to do in college. Though everyone advised Tyler from taking the most difficult class in high school, Physics, he took it anyways. That’s he was introduced to Mr. Dexter, who opened his eyes to the world of physics. From that moment, Tyler found himself going into the route of engineering, more specifically mechanical engineering. In college, Tyler and a few of his buddies stated VentureStorm, where he taught himself how to code. When that did not work out and Tyler had to figure out a way to pay off his loans it was then when he met Hunter who gave him the opportunity to work with him in his development agency when other opportunities didn’t present itself. This opened a lot of doors for Tyler to continue to do software, which led to him meeting Austin. Austin reached out to Tyler about a development project with Morning Brew, which he took. Though Tyler may not have had the formal education he was able to learn everything he needed on his own. The opportunities presented to Tyler were rightfully earned because of his hard work and dedication.
