Stay strong, Stay healthy, Stay informed

In our last episode of Season 1, join Ava as she explains how our efforts can be utilized as a collective, as we fight and speak up for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) and Transgender lives. Our efforts in creating change in the parts of society that we find unjust must be a lifestyle. Set goals and weekly commitments to yourself. To create lifelong, long-lasting change, we must fight the good fight day to day, week to week, month to month, year to year. What will you implement into your life to become a lifelong ally? Listen to your black and trans community members, writers, educators and activists, hear/read/share their perspectives and ideas, sign petitions weekly, donate monthly, speak with your city council members, and call out racism and queerphobia in your life- whether it be in the home, in the workplace, or within government institutions- The time has come to no longer stay silent. Let’s practice, learn, and grow together. I loved learning and speaking with you and our guests this season.
