A Texas man who went on the run on Christmas Eve, after allegedly murdering his girlfriend, was shot and killed by law enforcement officers in Houston. In Indiana, a mother was sentenced to seven years in prison for injecting fecal material into her son’s IV bag, while the teen was being treated for cancer. Finally, on Sunday, a man opened fire in a Texas church, killing two, before being killed by a member of the church’s security team. The suspect has since been identified as a semi-transient who had visited the church several times in the past to receive food donations and request cash.
