Five people were stabbed at an upstate New York Hanukkah candle lighting on Saturday night. A suspect has been apprehended and charged with five counts of attempted murder and one count of first degree burglary. Andrew Cuomo, the Governor of New York, has called the incident “an attack fueled by intolerance.” In Bellingham, Washington, a husband allegedly fatally shot his wife, a beloved elementary school principal, and killed their pets. He then posted a twitter ‘confession,’ before shooting himself. He survived and is in critical condition Finally, Michigan man, Kevin Bacon, has been missing since Christmas Eve. On Saturday, police found him deceased inside a home in Bennington Township. A 50-year-old suspect has been taken into custody on charges of murder.
