A Texas teen is charged with capital murder after allegedly murdering his 8 months pregnant sister, and staging the death to seem like a suicide. In New Mexico, a teen pleaded guilty to second degree murder for fatally shooting a 25-year-old man during an attempted robbery, and was sentenced to a mere 30 days in jail. Finally, An Iowa woman is facing multiple charges after a December 9th Des Moines area crime spree. Over the course of the day the suspect allegedly intentionally hit a 14-year-old girl with her vehicle, attempted to run over a 12-year-old boy, and finally accosted a convenience store clerk and his customers, throwing items at them, and hurling racial slurs. Police say the suspect told them she ran over the girl because “she was Mexican”.
