California authorities have arrested five suspects in the Halloween shooting at an Orinda Airbnb “mansion party”, which left five people dead. A retired lumber executive is charged with the murder of his wife, who died of a horrific axe wound to the head, 37 years ago. Finally, law enforcement agencies arrested a 73-year-old retired Arizona plumber, and charged him with the 1979 sexual assault and murder of a woman in Nevada. He is suspected in multiple other homicide investigations, and is considered a possible serial killer.
