Tom Mix, featuring an interview with accompanist and historian Ben Model

Join us as we go back to some of the earlier Westerns, two films by the great silent cowboy Tom Mix (not to mention Tony the Wonder Horse) - The Great KaA Train Robbery (1926) and Outlaws of Red River (1927). We were fortunate enough to see both at the 2019 TCM Classic Film Festival, featuring gorgeous prints by the Museum of Modern Art and exciting accompaniment by Ben Model. Ben was also gracious enough to join us for an interview to provide his silent film expertise as well as a look at his unique profession. Please rate, subscribe, and check out our other episodes. Also be sure to follow the show, Felicity, Clarence, and Ben. Thanks for listening!
