TAPP #38 - Poor Anxiety Coping Habits

There are many bad coping strategies people use in order to keep their anxiety from going haywire. Using these strategies only makes your anxiety worse because now you are dependent on these strategies for safety and also your avoiding the fears you don't want to confront. Some bad coping habits include: touching parts of your body, drugs, alcohol, and junk foods. In this podcast I list the 4 biggest most destructive habits people implement regularly that keep their anxiety alive. To be specific, they are: avoidance, too much time at home, checking Dr. Google, and seeking reassurance. Just being aware that you engage in these destructive habits can be an eye opening revelation.
