Marilyn Demeter first met Elvis after one of his concerts in 1955 in Texas. She became friends with him and then Colonel Parker's assistant Tom Diskin asked her to run a Fan Club. She spent time on Elvis movie sets during the 60's Her friendship with Elvis endured through the years and when she was working for MCA/Universal she presented Elvis with the script for his final feature film.
