#61 Dr. Kimber Stanhope - Metabolic Effects of Sugar

In this episode of The Muscle Memoirs Podcast, I am joined by Dr. Kimber Stanhope to discuss the metabolic effects of sugar.

Kimber Stanhope received a M.S. in Nutrition Science and a Ph.D. in Nutritional Biology from the University of California at Davis, where she is currently an Associate Research Nutritional Biologist in the Department of Molecular Biosciences. Dr. Stanhope is a nationally and internationally recognized expert on the health effects of sugar consumption. She has devoted more than 16 years to investigating the effects of sugar consumption on the development of metabolic disease, utilizing well-controlled diet intervention studies in human subjects. She is also a registered dietitian and has worked in all aspects of nutrition, including dietetic counseling and public health.
