#62 Dr. Cody Haun - Limitations of Exercise Science Research

In this episode of The Muscle Memoirs Podcast, I am joined by Dr. Cody Haun to discuss the potential benefits of strength phases for physique athletes, the limitations of resistance training studies, and what we can do to improve the quality of future research. Dr. Haun has a PhD in Exercise Physiology from Auburn University where he conducted physiological research pertaining to exercise, nutrition, and supplementation in the Molecular and Applied Sciences Laboratory led by Dr. Michael Roberts. He also has a Master's Degree in Sport Physiology and a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science from East Tennessee State University (ETSU) where he studied under world-renowned sport physiologist Dr. Michael Stone. During his time at ETSU, he served as a strength and conditioning coach for several sports. Most recently, he has transitioned away from academia and runs his own fitness lab.
