Carol (2015): CATE BLANCHETT & ROONEY MARA {Part 3}

In this episode, Angie and Steffi’s “Carol” discussion comes to an end. They discuss “Carol” being overlooked by the Oscars, their lackluster marketing campaign, gay shaking, and why the movie will forever be a favorite for people with taste - including you, Harold. This is part 2 of 2 of our era breakdown episodes, and the final part of our “Carol” episodes.

Continuing where we left off with tea - we get into some MAJOR TEA in this episode, including: Cate Blanchett’s controversial Variety interview, Harvey Weinstein, Rooney Mara & category fraud, and JUSTICE FOR CAROL (2015). We also hyper analyze “Carol”’s marketing material including that exquisite teaser trailer, the emotional first trailer…and that really sketchy second trailer. Plus, “Harold, they’re lesbians”.
