Cindy Samuelson Interview (Network Marketing Professional)

My mom was a single parent of five, and I was the oldest. I went to work at age 17, graduated from high school at 18, and managed to get about 80 hours of college credit before personal circumstances took my attention away from completing my education. Quitting school was a decision I regretted well into my 40s. Even as a teen, I knew something for certain. To honor all the sacrifices my mother made for us, I wanted to be happily married, I wanted to stay home and raise my children, and I wanted to be wealthy. I started my home-based business in 1983. Being a great student, I got trained by some of the greatest icons in the industry. I learned early on to make my priorities: God first, family second, and career third … not thirty-third. I earned my first million before my 40th birthday … and my second by my 42nd. It’s been a career which has now entered its fourth decade. I’ve always said I’d never tire of what I do, and here I am, still passionate, still believing that if everyone knew what I know about networking, they’d run, open-armed, into their glorious future. For me, networking is about leadership, compassion, and being part of the solution. It’s about hope, discipline, persistence, and a willingness to show up. It’s about learning the skills to be resilient in the face of your disappointments and to encourage yourself to move forward in your darkest hours. It’s about learning to be the best version of yourself and to put others’ needs before your own. I’ve been featured in books and magazines, and interviewed by Pulitzer Prize winning authors. I’ve received standing ovations from rooms filled with 10,000 networkers. More than 45 families have earned more than a million dollars as a result of my involvement in networking. I never get tired of applauding their success. From owners to distributors, I’ve met some of the best in the business. That said, I’m at the point in my career where I have no desire to list my credentials. All the titles and awards are no longer what drives me. Though I always have a professional financial objective, my only focus is to help others. I have no desire to do anything more than help others develop the skill sets so that they can live life on their terms. So … in conclusion ... I think the next 20 years will be the most rewarding of my career.   About Pat Petrini: Pat Petrini is the co-author of what has now become a #1 International Best-Selling book, The Miracle Morning for Network Marketers.
