244. A Crazy Airport Story + some fun life updates!

Welcome back, everyone! So much has happened over the last week or so, so we decided to use this episode to provide some news and updates! We have yet another crazy travel story to share, and we are also going to touch upon how cold showers have been going, sourdough, a book that I recently finished, how my definition of “cold” has been changing, and so much more! If any of that sounds intriguing, then be sure to stay tuned!

Expect to hear all about how I have attempted a cold shower twice now but still haven’t been able to last as long as Jesse does, and Jesse shares that he is really looking forward to summer because he expects that they will be easier once it’s warmer outside. We discuss the health benefits of starting your day with a cold shower and how it can impact your energy levels (even though I don’t take them in the morning because I know that I won’t want to get out of bed if I know that I will be leaving my warm bed to take a cold shower!).

We also touch on circadian rhythms, sunshine before screens, and the fascinating journey of adapting to discomfort for personal growth. Plus, as I teased, stay tuned for a crazy travel story from my recent visit to Kansas, where unexpected flight delays and weather challenges put my problem-solving skills and faith to the test! Don’t forget that I am currently running my 10 Weeks of Money Saving Menus program, and if you stay tuned for the end of the episode, you’ll be treated to an exclusive discount code!
