1. Chilling details have emerged in a double murder case in Uttar Pradesh's Budaun, in which a man allegedly walked into a neighbour's home, asked for money and killed two children. The alleged killer, Sajid, ran a barber shop opposite the victims' house and knew their father Vinod, police say. On Tuesday evening, Sajid visited their house, ostensibly to borrow Rs 5,000, but Vinod was not at home. When Vinod's wife left the room to make tea, he allegedly attacked her three children. The double murders sparked tension in the city, with residents setting the barber's shop on fire. 2. With the clock ticking for Lok Sabha election, the BJP has sealed the seat-sharing deal with the Janata Dal (Secular) in Karnataka. The HD Deve Gowda-led party, it is learnt, has managed to secure three seats as part of the seat-sharing arrangement. The JDS will be contesting Karnataka's Mandya, Hassan and Kolar seats, sources have said. Also, in Bangalore Rural, Mr Deve Gowda's son-in-law CN Manjunath will contest on the BJP's lotus symbol. 3. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has moved the Delhi High Court challenging the summons issued to him by the Enforcement Directorate in an excise policy-linked money laundering case. The petition of the AAP national convenor, who has been asked to appear before the agency on March 21, is listed for hearing on Wednesday before a bench of Justices Suresh Kumar Kait and Manoj Jain.He has moved the court against the latest summons, the ninth issued by the ED asking him to appearing before it for questioning under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).
