Originally cutting her teeth in the indie movie scene, MacDonald's career has been on an upward trajectory for years. Recently, she even had a cameo in a music video for Jelly Roll. "I don't even know how that happened, it was really quite bizarre," she remarks. "I think my agent and was like, 'I just feel like this would be something you're interested in.' And I was like, 'Yeah, I am.' I heard the song and I was like, 'Absolutely.'"
