Alex Ruch is a Machine Learning Engineer II at Spotify. Previously, he worked as a ML Research Engineer at Graphika, Inc. (featured on Built In!) and was a Sage Fellow PhD at Cornell University in the Departments of Sociology and Information Science. He earned my PhD from Cornell University in 2021. This interview is based on an article Alex Ruch co-authored called: "Millions of Co-purchases and Reviews Reveal the Spread of Polarization and Lifestyle Politics across Online Markets." ArXiv.
