We talk about how Phil gave up his voice for the sake of heavy metal; the incredible songwriting and virtuosic skill of brothers Dimebag Darrell and Vinnie Paul; how Steve and Joe discovered Pantera; and the ability of KNAC, a Long Beach-based metal FM radio station, to break bands during the Vulgar era.
