31: The hidden benefits of going abroad
If you are not one of the millions of people who experienced living in a foreign country, you are missing out! At first glance, immersing yourself into a foreign culture can be daunting, whether you do it for work, college, or high school. However, there are benefits to studying or living abroad. For one, it could be one of the most rewarding experience of your life. In this episode, I interview an 18-year-old who went to Japan as part of a study abroad foreign exchange program. What he hoped to be an escape from boredom turned out to be a life changing experience.
