156 - HAUNTED BEACHES a BATTLEFIELDS

EPISODE 156:HAUNTED BEACHES a BATLEFIELDS   Summer’s the perfect time to share ghost stories about battlefields and boardwalks. Author T. Fox Dunham enjoyed a surprise trip to Ocean City, New Jersey. Fox stayed next to the ornate Hotel Flanders, and while his wife napped, Fox slipped over to explore the haunted grand halls and corridors of one of the shore’s oldest hotels. In Episode 117: The Ghost of Emily, Fox told the story of the Flander’s resident ghost: a young woman named Emily. He updates the tale and tells author Phil Thomas about the gorgeous rooms of the Flanders and Emily’s portrait that hangs in the den on the second floor. Then British folksinger David Walton narrates a ghost story about the haunted Baladerry Inn in Gettysburg where guests still see soldiers fighting and one naughty spirit flirts with young women with blond hair. Oh! There’s new clown news, and the show closes with a haunting tale called “The Shell Seller” from Peter L. Holmes. Born in the Manchester in the United Kingdom, Peter now resides in Hội An in Vietnam. All opinions of guests and content do not reflect the opinions of T. Fox Dunham, Phil Thomas or Para-X Radio.
