Episode #84- Life After The 2K League with Demar Butler

Demar Butler aka Deedz is a former professional NBA 2K player from Spotsylvania, Virginia. In the NBA 2K League’s first-ever season back in 2018, he was taken with the 37th overall pick by Jazz Gaming. He would play in Utah for two seasons before going unretained headed into the 2020 draft. With back-to-back selections in the third-round, Heat Check Gaming would use one of those picks on Deedz, ultimately making Miami his new home for two more seasons. Deedz is now officially retired from the NBA 2K League, but he will always be remembered for being one of the OGs of the community. His prowess and flexibility on the court is a testament to the hard he would put in, and clearly explains how he carved out a four-year career. One of his proudest moments was when he received a medal from the navy for four years of service. He is an avid fan of the Boston Celtics and Baltimore Ravens.
