Pahūtavitto puriso
sahirañño sabhojano,
eko bhuñjati sādūni --
taṃ parābhavato mukhaṃ.
Listen

To have much wealth
and ample gold and food,
but to enjoy one's luxuries alone --
this is a cause of one's downfall.
